Report on refrigerated convenience food overblown, Walgreen says, but not all wrong

A report in The Tennessean newspaper that has Walgreen Co., Deerfield, Ill., developing a refrigerated prepared food program for its 7,000 stores isn't quite correct, a spokesperson for the drug chain told RFFR , but she also related that the company is looking to expand a limited operation offering convenience sandwiches and salads to more stores.


Wegmans leverages prepared food to create frozen line
