No Impact Week: Food Day Brief (Important Updates)

HuffPost

Hi Everyone,

Today is Food Day, arguably the best part of No Impact Week.  It's time to cook locally and to eat at restaurants that purchase locally.

If you're proud of your cooking, send in photos of your local food dishes to the Huffington Post.  You can also look for popular local food restaurants near you.  Check out HuffPost Green for tons of local food stories.

With International Day of Climate Action only three days away, it's time to start making plans. You can create your own action on Saturday or sign up for one of the over four thousand events already scheduled around the world.

WEBCAST: Tonight, at 9pm EST HuffPost food blogger Kerry Trueman will host a conversation with Josh Viertel, President of Slow Food USA and Patty Lovera, Asistant Director of Food and Water Watch.  You can watch the webcast here.

If you have any questions about the week, check out the No Impact Project's community website or shoot us an email at experiment@noimpactproject.org.

Have fun,
